COVID-19 Lockdown: A Press Release from UTP Merchant Services
At UTP our number one priority is the safety of our employees, customers, partners and public at large. Therefore, we will be fully complying with the UK wide lock down and all other measures proposed by the government going forward to combat the spread of COVID-19. This naturally will raise a number of questions about our operations. To address some of the more major ones:
- Our payment infrastructure will continue to function allowing purchases to be made online or over the phone, and our terminals will still accept payments
- If you have an appointment booked with us, we will endeavour to re-arrange and proceed with it once the lockdown has been lifted
- We have published guidelines for merchants on how to maximise their sales in these uncertain times, which you can find here
We would like to thank all our customers for their co-operation during this period of disruption, and it is our sincere hope that you all remain safe. We will continue to keep you all updated as the situation develops.
